Further, two additional positions were created <br />for the Midland and Harrisburg planning areas. <br />Note: The Parks Commission meets on the 3 rd Thursday of the month at the <br />Governmental Center (Multipurpose Room) at 6:00 p.m. <br />Note: The Parks Commission adopted new Bylaws at its October 18, 2012 <br />meeting. The name was changed to Active Living and Parks Commission and <br />according to the Bylaws, Article IV Section 2, the Active Living and Parks <br />Commission shall be composed of ten (10) Cabarrus County Citizens, one (1) <br />Sr. Centers Advisory Council Member, and one (1) representative from the <br />Cabarrus County board of Commissioners serving as a non - voting liaison. <br />At the October 18, 2012 Active Living and Parks Commission meeting, new by- <br />laws were adopted. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />H -1 Page 126 <br />
