CABARRUS COUNTY <br />r <br />BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />#C 1' to <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Discussion of November Bond Referendum for CCS, <br />KCS and RCCC <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County has received three petitions from Cabarrus County <br />Schools (CCS), Kannapolis City Schools (KCS) and Rowan - Cabarrus <br />Community College (RCCC) requesting a November bond referendum. <br />Attached are the three petitions including their project request as well as <br />estimated funding needs. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />1. Discuss proposed projects to be included in bond referendum. <br />2. Approve final amount of referendum. <br />3. Direct staff to complete Local Government Commission (LGC) application, including <br />the final project cost and dollar amount to be included in referendum. <br />4.
