PUBLIC NOTICE <br />LEASE OF COUNTY PROPERTY <br />The Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County intends to enter into a nonexclusive site lease <br />for communications equipment space on the Mt. Pleasant communications tower owned by the <br />County. <br />The County intends to lease space on the tower and access to it to Cellco Partnership dba <br />Verizon Wireless for a term of up to ten (10) years. In consideration of the lease, Cellco will pay <br />to the County annual rent of $24,000.00 to increase by 10% after five (5) years. In addition, <br />Cellco shall pay $9,600.00 at the beginning of each five (5) year period for use of an existing <br />equipment building. <br />All persons interested in this lease are invited to attend the meeting of the Board of <br />Commissioners to be held in the Commissioners Chambers, Cabarrus County Governmental <br />Center, 65 Church Street, Concord, North Carolina, at 6:30 p.m., on Monday, April 21, 2014.
