Payment will only be provided for properly authorized and approved trips. CCTS will not be <br />responsible for payment for trips requested by the customer or any other agency representing the <br />customer. CCTS may also withhold payment for services it believes were improper, which <br />failed to meet service specifications, or which are otherwise questionable. <br />Cabarrus County shall be billed on a per vehicle per mile trip basis, or on a per trip rate or on a per hour <br />per mile cost combination, depending on the baseline chosen in the contract. Mileage is subject to <br />audit to ensure most economical travel path. Contractor will assign passengers to rides at the lowest <br />cost or mode of transportation. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to mean the Contractor is <br />obligated to assign trips solely on the basis of cost. <br />Vehicle mileage begins as soon as the vehicle is en route to provide the requested transportation, <br />Mileage ends when the vehicle has either been dispatched to another agency trip or returned to the <br />base or central location. <br />User Procedure Requirements <br />Vehicle and Driver Requirements <br />I <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -4 Page 51 <br />
