[IC <br />Drug and Alcohol Procedures for all employees of American Alternative Transportation, LLC <br />(AAT) <br />All employees must have a 10 panel drug test before they can be employed by AAT, and will be <br />randomly tested anytime. The following Drug and Alcohol tests are required: <br />• Pre employment <br />• Post accident <br />Reasonable suspicion <br />Return to duty <br />Randomly <br />An employee who refuses to comply with a request for testing shall be removed from duty and <br />terminated immediately. Employee's who are suspected of providing false information in <br />connection with a test, orwho is suspected of falsifying test results through tampering, <br />contamination, alteration, or substitution shall be required to undergo an observed collection. <br />The following are also considered a refusal to test if the employee <br />• Fails to appear for any test within a reasonable time, as determined by employer, after <br />being directed to do so by employer <br />• Fails to remain at the testing site until the testing process is complete; <br />• Fails to provide a urine or breath specimen for any drug test required; <br />• In the case of a directly observed or monitored collection in a drug test, fails to permit <br />the observation or monitoring of provision of a specimen <br />• Falls to provide a sufficient amount of urine or breath when directed, and it has be <br />determined, through a required medical evaluation, that there was no adequate <br />medical explanation for the failure; <br />• Fails or declines to take a second test the employer or collector has directed you to <br />take; <br />• Fails to undergo a medical examination or evaluation, as directed by the MRO as part of <br />the verification process, or as directed by the DER as part of the "shy bladder" or "shy <br />lung" procedures <br />• Fails to cooperate with any part of the testing process (e.g. refuse to empty pockets <br />when so directed by the collector, behave in a confrontational way that disrupts the <br />collection process). <br />Drug tests can be performed any time an employee is on duty.
