CABARRUS COUNTY <br />` <br />BOARD OF • • - <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />4 <br />1� <br />=W 01 � 2 0 1 4 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Cabarrus Health Alliance (CHA) Request for Additional Funding <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Between March 28th and April 7th, 2014, all customers of the Papa John's Pizza location at 8016- <br />6 Cambridge Commons Drive, Charlotte, NC 28205 were exposed to Hepatitis A. Reimbursement <br />for the approximately 400 Hepatitis A vaccinations was requested from Papa John's on May 20th. <br />As of this date, no response has been received from Papa John's. <br />This cost was paid within the communicable disease mandated services division which is funded <br />by the County. Since Papa John's has failed to respond to reimburse CHA, a request in the <br />amount of $22,777.08 has been submitted to Cabarrus County to cover this expense.
