CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />� r�n o i-- <br />JULY 21 2014 <br />• P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Tax Collection - Tax Collector's Annual Settlement and Order Authorizing <br />Collection of FY 2014 -2015 Taxes <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />NC GS 105 -373 requires to Tax Collector to give an annual settlement on <br />current and delinquent taxes to the governing body for their review and <br />approval. The settlement for FY 2013 -2014 is attached. This report <br />contains real, personal and motor vehicle delinquent taxes that remain <br />unpaid for the fiscal year. These lists are hereby recharged to the Tax <br />Collector for collection. Also attached, please find the Order to Collect, to <br />be signed by the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />authorizing the Tax Collector to collect all 2014 -2015 property taxes. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to accept the Tax Collector's annual settlement and approve the <br />Order to Collect in accordance with NCGS 105 -321. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />J.
