NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM <br />Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 4 th day of November, 2014 there shall be a <br />referendum in Cabarrus County, North Carolina on the order authorizing the issuance by Cabarrus County <br />of general obligation school bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $11,000,000 for the <br />purpose of providing funds, together with any other available funds, to finance the acquisition, <br />construction, installation and equipping of a new public elementary school to replace the existing Royal <br />Oaks Elementary School, including acquisition of necessary land and rights -of -way. Taxes may be levied <br />for the payment of such bonds and the interest thereon. The last day of registration for voting in such <br />referendum under the election laws now in effect is October 10, 2014. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />G -1 Page 142 <br />
