CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 15, 2014 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Recognitions and Presentations <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development - Recognition of Planning and Zoning <br />Commission Member <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Mr. Larry Ensley joined the Planning and Zoning Commission as an <br />alternate member in October of 2006. In September of 2007, he became <br />an at -large member to complete an unexpired term. His current term <br />ended in August of 2014. Mr. Ensley served over seven years on the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />During his service on the Planning and Zoning Commission, Mr. Ensley <br />served in the leadership roles of Chair, Vice Chair and on the Text <br />Amendment Committee. He also served as a mentor to new Commission <br />members and participated in various land use plan activities. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Recognize Larry Ensley and thank him for his many years of service to <br />Cabarrus County as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />5 Minutes <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Susie Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager, AICP, CZO <br />C -2 Page 113 <br />
