Cabarrus County welcomed Alevo to the community on October 28th at their global company launch and opening. <br />The manufacturing of their innovative battery technology and Grideanks will take place at the former Philip Morris <br />campus, renamed Victory Industrial Park. Alevo plans to create 500 jobs in the first 12 months, increasing to 2,500 <br />jobs within 3 years. <br />Cust omer • •: - A <br />In October, we also welcomed Gordon Food Service who <br />announced on October 27th their plans to construct a <br />300,000 + sq ft distribution facility in the Afton Ridge Busi- <br />ness Park. GFS will invest over $58M in our community and <br />create 275 jobs.
