EXHIBIT A <br />RESULT OF REFERENDUM ON $9,000,000 <br />CABARRUS COUNTY GENERAL OBLIGATION COMMUNITY COLLEGE BONDS <br />The result of the referendum held on November 4, 2014 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina (the <br />"County ") on the issuance by the County of general obligation community college bonds in an aggregate <br />principal amount not to exceed $9,000,000 for the purpose of providing funds, together with any other <br />available funds, to finance the acquisition, construction, installation and equipping of a new community <br />college facility (Building 4000 - Advanced Technology Center) for Rowan- Cabarrus Community College <br />within the boundaries of Cabarrus County, including acquisition of necessary land and rights -of -way, <br />was 30,699 votes "For" approval of the Bond Order and 17,316 votes "Against" approval of the Bond <br />Order adopted by the Board of said County with respect to such bonds. <br />Any action or proceeding challenging the regularity or validity of this bond referendum must be <br />begun within 30 days after November _, 2014. <br />CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />Date of Publication: November , 2014 <br />C -2 Page 151 <br />
