Cabarrus County <br />EMS <br />G 6 ,C>� `;Tess 6Ucdse <br />Date 20 October 2014 <br />Topic: Cabarrus EMS Wins Carolina's Paramedic Competition <br />The Cabarrus County EMS team of Will Cannon and Jonathan <br />Maulden took top honors at the Carolina's Paramedic Competition in <br />Columbia, South Carolina October 18 The team won the two day <br />event pitting the best teams from North and South Carolina in a <br />competition format of complex patient care scenarios. The scenarios <br />required great attention to care, scene management, professionalism, <br />and clinical decision making. Cabarrus teams have previously <br />finished first and fourth in this event along with other major <br />competition wins. This level of excellence is what the Cabarrus EMS <br />paramedics strive to bring to the citizens of the County each day. <br />Sergeant Jonathan Maulden is a Nationally Registered Paramedic <br />and currently serves as an EMS Field Training Officer, Disaster <br />Medical Specialist, and Tactical Medic.
