CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />1 <br />�A CA1Lp 1�1�I : • <br />• P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments and Removals - Cabarrus County Senior Centers Advisory <br />Council <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />At the November 17, 2014 meeting, the Cabarrus County Senior Centers <br />Advisory Council reviewed applications for Charles Mitchell, Rod <br />Campany, Sherman Childers, Gail Linker, Dianna Long (determined to be <br />out of County), Jean Chandler, Barbara Burrage, O'Lynda Walker, and <br />Vincent Polidori. The Executive Committee was made aware that the <br />Board of Commissioners wanted to see new members on boards and <br />commissions and to see better representation from Kannapolis. <br />The Executive committee recommended the appointment of Rod <br />Campany, Jean Chandler, Sherman Childers and Gail Linker to three -year <br />terms ending December 31, 2017. The Senior Centers Advisory Council <br />approved the recommendation. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to remove Betty Barnhardt, Ann Eaves, Michael Plowman and <br />O'Lynda Walker from the Cabarrus County Senior Centers Advisory <br />Council roster and thank them for their service. <br />Motion to appoint Rod Campany, Jean Chandler, Sherman Childers and <br />Gail Linker to the Cabarrus County Senior Centers Advisory Council for <br />three -year terms ending December 31, 2017. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />1 Minute <br />H -4 Page 383 <br />
