2014 marked incredible speculative building development in Cabarrus County. There were 4 ground breaking <br />events (privately developed) in Cabarrus this year for a combined total of over 1.1 million new industrial/ <br />distribution square footage. Two buildings including the International Crossing building located at 2151nternation- <br />al Drive and a 400,000 sq ft facility at the Concord Airport Business Park were recently completed this fall. Amazon <br />Fulfillment currently occupies over half of the space in the Concord Airport Business Park spec building. Another <br />150,000 sq ft building is under construction in the same park.
