In the by -laws, the Commission voted <br />unanimously to remove one At -Large seat to be replaced with one <br />member from the Senior Centers Advisory Council. <br />At the January 17, 2013 meeting, the Active Living and Parks Commission <br />voted unanimously to recommend the reappointment of Tracy Broome <br />and John Parker and also the appointment of Michael Andrew Coley. <br />The terms of appointment for Margaret Houston, John Parker, and Tracy <br />Broome will end January 31, 2013. It is requested to remove the names of <br />Margaret Houston and Clara Swallows (At -Large Seat) from the roster. <br />According to the By -laws, Article IV Section 2, The Active Living and <br />Parks Commission shall be composed of ten (10) Cabarrus County <br />Citizens, one (1) Sr. Centers Advisory Council Member, and one (1) <br />representative from the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners serving <br />as a non - voting liaison. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to reappoint John Parker and Tracy Broome to the Active Living <br />and Parks Commission for three -year terms ending January 31, 2016. <br />Motion to appoint Michael Andrew Coley to the Active Living and Parks <br />H -3 Page 155 <br />
