CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />pTxarcA�a�� <br />M ARCH 1 <br />��fiiffJfl /�� <br />1 P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />EMS - Approval of Ambulance Piggyback Purchase and Related Budget <br />Amendment <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />It is requested to purchase three (3) new type III ambulances by <br />piggybacking a bid awarded to Southeastern Specialty Vehicles, Inc. by <br />Elmore County, Idaho using budgeted medicaid transportation funds. The <br />total purchase cost is $426,000 including taxes, tag and lettering. The new <br />ambulances will replace ones that have outlived their usefulness and will <br />comply with the County's vehicle replacement policy.
