Engine High -Idle Speed Control, Automatic <br />The vehicle shall be equipped with a high idle system. The device shall operate only when the transmission is <br />in "Neutral" or "Park ", and the parking brake has been engaged. The device shall disengage when the <br />operator depresses the service brake pedal, the transmission is placed in gear, or parking brake is disengaged <br />and automatically re- engages when the service brake is released, when the transmission is placed in neutral or <br />park, and the parking brake is re- engaged. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes _X_ No <br />Exhaust System <br />The exhaust system shall be the OEM manufacturer's standard. There shall be galvanized heat shields above <br />the exhaust system in accordance with Ford's QVM. Yes _X_ No <br />Fuel Tank /Diesel Exhaust Fluid Tank <br />The vehicle shall be equipped with a single fuel tank, having a capacity of at least 57 gallons for the Type III and <br />40 gallons for the Type I. There shall be a cast aluminum fill mounted and sealed to the ambulance body, with <br />a brushed stainless steel paint protection plate extending from the fill downward to the bottom of the body or <br />top of the rub rail. This plate shall be securely adhered and sealed to the surface of the body, not fastened <br />with rivets or screws. <br />The Diesel Exhaust Fluid tank shall not be modified from OEM standards in any way, including the location of <br />the fill or hoses. There shall be a cast aluminum fill mounted and sealed to the ambulance body, with a <br />brushed stainless steel paint protection plate extending from the fill downward to the bottom of the body or <br />top of the rub rail.
