CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />�Ir REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 19 <br />` �is��llJll <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - Reappropriation of Funds for Ongoing Projects <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Each year, there are projects that need to be transitioned to the new fiscal <br />year when they are unable to be completed within the fiscal year for which <br />they were budgeted. A reappropriation of funds, via fund balance, is needed <br />to transition projects to the new fiscal year. <br />In September, an additional list of projects will be provided that are primarily <br />grant - related. The total amount of these reappropriations are unable to be <br />determined until the books are closed.
