1'792 <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />August 19, 2013 — 6:30 P.M. <br />Economic Development Incentive Grant <br />Notice is hereby given that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6:30 <br />p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) on Monday, August 19, 2013, in the Board of <br />Commissioners' Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 <br />Church Street SE, Concord, to consider an economic development grant for Windshear, pursuant to N.C. <br />General Statute 158 -7.1. Windshear proposes to expand its current operation in Cabarrus County with a total <br />projected investment of approximately $5 million and requests a three -year grant equivalent to 85 percent of <br />the ad valorem taxes on the investment.
