Cabarrus County experienced growth in the number of jobs and has <br />maintained a slightly lower unemployment rate than North Carolina over the past decade. Moreover, <br />Cabarrus County benefits from being part of the Charlotte MSA, which exhibits both a higher rate of <br />GDP growth and a higher level of GDP per capita than the nation overall.
