Proposal for Cabarrus County Department of Social Services: <br />Temporary Staffing Services Options for Processing FNS Cases <br />Goal: Provide temporary staffing options to process outstanding recertifications and <br />applications (3000 recertifications and 1000 apps pre- August) in a quality and cost effective <br />manner. <br />Option 1: Virtual Staff who will work from home. <br />We have an experienced team of 3 FNS virtual staff who can start work right away. They have all worked in <br />NCFAST and with Northwoods. Two of the three will need refreshing in both systems, as it has been several <br />months or more since they had assignments. <br />Cost: Because NCFAST is currently so problematic, we will charge by the hour for these staff. Once <br />NCFAST is operating efficiently and effectively, we will then charge on production. The charges are: <br />Hourly: $22.00 <br />Per case: $27.00 <br />We have other staff who can be added to our virtual team so that we will have as many as you desire to cover <br />cases you want to assign to them. These would be new to virtual work, but also very experienced FNS <br />workers. <br />Option 2: Staff Assigned to Work at Cabarrus DSS <br />This option is for staff who would be working at Cabarrus DSS on an hourly basis. They would be experienced <br />FNS caseworkers who live within commuting distance and have the ability to work at your agency. <br />Cost: 26.50 an hour <br />Option 3: Combination <br />We can provide a combination of in -house staff and virtual, as might be desired by the agency. <br />Processing time frames: <br />The NCFAST system issues has not allowed us to project case completion time frames. We were able to do <br />that under the old FSIS system, and expect to be able to do that again once NCFAST is truly operating <br />efficiently. We will work with you to accomplish such time projections as soon as it is possible to do so. <br />Vanguard Professional Staffing is committed to working collaboratively with Cabarrus County DSS to <br />make these viable, workable, and cost saving options.
