CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />r <br />z ft 0 AUGUST 19, 2013 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments - Planning and Zoning Commission <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Danny Fesperman's term ends on August 31, 2013. He serves as the <br />"Central Area" representative. He has served on the commission for eight <br />years and is not eligible for reappointment. Andrew Deal's term as an <br />"Alternate" ends August 31, 2014, and he respectfully requests to be <br />appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission as a regular member, <br />fulfilling Mr. Fesperman's seat as the "Central Area" representative for a <br />term ending August 31, 2016. <br />The terms of Shannon Frye (At- Large) and Armistead Eugene Divine <br />(Harrisburg) end August 31, 2013, and they respectfully request to be <br />reappointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission for another three - <br />year term ending August 31, 2016. Mr. Divine also serves on the <br />Watershed Improvement Commission. An exception to the "service on <br />multiple boards" provision of the Appointment Policy will be needed for <br />him. <br />Chris Pinto's one -year term ends August 31, 2013, and he respectfully <br />requests to be reappointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission as an <br />"Alternate" representative for a three -year term ending August 31, 2016. <br />Mr. Pinto also serves on the Council for a Sustainable Local Economy. An <br />exception to the "service on multiple boards" provision of the Appointment <br />Policy will be needed for him. <br />Andrew Graham would like to be considered to fill an "Alternate" seat for <br />an unexpired term ending August 31, 2014.
