ITEM # <br />15. <br />RECORD SERIES TITLE <br />STANDARD -7: GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) RECORDS <br />DISPOSITION INSTRUCTIONS <br />MAPS: ALL OTHER <br />Includes field maps, soil, topographic, sales, <br />subdivision plats, right -of -way, sectional, highway, etc <br />a) Retain in office maps, including GIS datasets and <br />accompanying documentation (metadata), with historical <br />and /or legal value permanently. <br />b) Destroy in office remaining items when administrative <br />value ends.t <br />Agency Policy: Destroy in office after 30 days <br />16. <br />PARK MAPS <br />May include park boundaries, facilities, landscaping, <br />topography, and other pertinent information. Includes <br />maps and drawings stored and generated by <br />Geographic Information System (GIS) and computer - <br />aided design (CAD) systems <br />See also GEOSPATIAL RECORDS page x <br />Paper: Retain in office permanently. <br />GIS dataset: Create a snapshot of dataset annually.
