Cabarrus county Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 4- Overlay Districts and Zones <br />A manufactured home is defined as a dwelling unit that: <br />• Is not constructed in accordance with the standards of the North Carolina <br />Residential Building Code for One- and Two - Family Dwellings; <br />• Is composed of one or more components, each of which was substantially <br />assembled in a manufacturing plant and designed to be transported to the home <br />site on its own chassis; <br />• Exceeds forty feet in length and eight feet in width; and <br />• Is constructed to the Federal Manufactures Construction Standards and is so <br />labeled. struetHre, Hsed er intended te be Hsed as a Dwelling Unit, <br />U.S.G. §5401, et seq. For purposes of this Part, a <br />"manufactured home" does not include a structure which otherwise complies <br />with this subsection, but which was built prior to June 15, 1976, which units <br />shall be classified as "mobile homes." <br />Section 4 -4-3 Modular; Homes Exempted <br />Manufactured Housing Constructed to meet the N.C.
