CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 21, 2013 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments (Removal) - Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Due to his work schedule, former county commissioner, Robert "Bob" <br />Carruth has resigned from the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions <br />Community Oversight Board. Mr. Carruth was involved with the transition <br />of Piedmont Behavioral Healthcare (PBH), beginning with his appointment <br />in December 2000 and culminating with the reorganization and transition <br />to Cardinal Innovations in 2012. He has served on the local community <br />oversight board since its establishment last year. <br />There are currently no applications on file for this Board. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to remove Robert Carruth from the Cardinal Innovations <br />Healthcare Solutions Community Oversight Board roster and thank him for <br />his service. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />1 Minute <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Megan Smit, Clerk to the Board <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />No <br />H -1 Page 154 <br />
