Yoos, Sr. for Earning the <br />Manager of Environmental, Safety and Health Certificate (MESH) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />John A. Yoos, Sr., Safety & Risk Coordinator, will be present for <br />recognition of earning the Manager of Environmental, Safety and Health <br />(MESH) certificate from North Carolina State University, the Safety and <br />Health Council of North Carlina and the North Carolina Department of <br />Labor. North Carolina Labor Commissioner Cherie Berry stated the <br />following about the MESH certification: "The certificate reflects a <br />commitment to workplace safety and health, an objective that we consider <br />essential in making sure that workers in this state go home safe at the end <br />of the workday." <br />The MESH program is designed to increase the professionalism of <br />environmental, safety and health professionals within governmental, <br />commercial and manufacturing sites in North Carolina. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Recognize Tony Harris, Safety & Risk Director, for presentation of the <br />certificate to John A. Yoos, Sr. <br />Commend John A. Yoos, Sr. for meeting the necessary training standards <br />in order to earn this distinguished certificate recognized throughout the <br />safety community. <br />C -2 Page 50 <br />
