Current Town of Harrisburg Ordinance: 97.03 FIREARMS, EXPLOSIVES, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, DRUGS AND DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES. It shall be unlawful for any person to bring into the park or have in his or her possession in the park the following: (A) — Any rifle, shotgun, BB gun, spring gun, slingshot, bow, or other weapon in which the propelling force is gunpowder a spring or air, or any explosive of any kind. Upon entering the park any of the above weapons which a person possesses must be made inoperative and placed in an enclosed area that is not readily accessible. Upon entering the park any of the above weapons which a person possesses must be made inoperative and placed in an enclosed area that is not readily accessible. (B) — Persons legally permitted to carry concealed handguns may conceal carry in parks and recreational facilities with the following exceptions: 1. Athletic fields, including appurtenant facilities during organized athletic events. Appurtenant facilities include but are not limited to: restrooms, concession stand and storage areas. 2. Municipal swimming pools, including any appurtenant facilities; including but not limited to dressing rooms, storage areas of personal items, or other uses related to the swimming pool. 3.
