CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 16, 2013 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - CCS QSCB Reallocation Request and Related Budget <br />Amendment - $13,835 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) Finance staff are requesting QSCB <br />(Qualified School Construction Bonds) reallocations, outlined in the <br />enclosed memo and related budget amendment request totaling $13,835. <br />There is $13,835 remaining in the Central Cabarrus Window /Door project <br />($8,501) and the Breaker Panel project ($5,334). The reallocation <br />requested will be for the Mt. Pleasant High School Boiler project ($10,892) <br />and the Northwest Cabarrus High School Gymnasium ($2,943) project. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the Cabarrus County School's QSCB reallocation of <br />various project budgets totaling $13,835 and related budget amendment <br />contingent on Cabarrus County Board of Education's approval on <br />December 2, 2013. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Len Witke, Cabarrus County Schools <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />Yes <br />COUNTY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS /COMMENTS: <br />F -6 Page 119 <br />
