A program such as the <br />Community Action Agency supports and. gives encouragement to residents of Rowan and <br />Cabarrus County. <br />The City of Kannapolis values its partnership with the Salisbury -Rowan Community Action <br />Agency because the Self Sufficienoy program plays a vital role in the community by helping <br />families identify their strengths and Barriers. The agency offers support to help individuals obtain <br />and maintain employment, provide safe, affordable housing, childcare, health care needs, <br />transportation, attend and complete educational and/or vocational training, and makes the best <br />use of their available income. <br />T'he City of Kannapolis fully supports the efforts of the Self - Sufficiency Program.
