Game 3 <br />Odell Eagles vs. Third Ward 49'ers, Texas. The Eagles scored a touch <br />down on the kick off! The Eagles won 12 -0. <br />This team is the pride of Cabarrus County and Concord, as the players <br />played with such heart and positive attitude. Also, the coaches and <br />parents represented our community well. <br />Fox News has been covering the team's success and the players <br />appeared on the TV Show "Fox Got Game" with Sports Director and <br />Anchor Bruce Snyder on 12/18/11. On 12/21/11, the Eagles were <br />featured at the Carolina Panthers "Media Day" press conference at the <br />Bank of America Stadium, highlighting the Eagles' accomplishments. In <br />addition, the Charlotte Observer has been covering them as well, and a <br />follow up story on the Eagles is scheduled for January. <br />The Eagles couldn't get to Florida without the support of our generous <br />community and a tremendous coaching staff: Head Coach Kenneth <br />Padgett, Defensive Coach Clay Bradford and Assistant Coaches Mike <br />Fitzgerald, Darryl Graves and Mike Walker. <br />What an incredible season - #1 in the Nation! <br />Go Eagles! <br />C -1 Attachment number 1 <br />Page 52 <br />
