Goal 2. Achieve community -wide preparedness to protect public safety, respond to routine and catastrophic events, and <br />maintain and restore the well -being of all residents. <br />OBJECTIVES <br />• WSACC conducted a Draft Water Regionalization <br />PROGRESS <br />1 <br />Complete the National Incident Management report, assess the <br />Study in 2008 that assessed a sustainable <br />fire suppression response in the unincorporated areas, identify <br />population level based on water sources. WSACC <br />PROGRESS <br />short comings and provide recommendations for improvement. <br />Board will be contemplating a Master Plan update <br />in 2012 that would include water carrying capacity <br />information. <br />Goal 2. This provided a better <br />level of response to our citizens as well as cutting <br />costs to the county staffing assistance program. The <br />Fire Marshal's Office also recommended contracting <br />the Jackson Park Fire District to the City of Concord <br />for response and insurance rating efficiencies. The <br />NC Office of the State Fire Marshal lowered the fire <br />insurance rating in the Jackson Park District to a 3 <br />with this new contract. <br />41 <br />Page 140 <br />
