ADDITION <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />♦r <br />$ CARQ j�l � APR IL 1 6 , 2012 <br />• P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development Services - Weatherization Application <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On March 30th, Cabarrus County received the standard Weatherization <br />application. The application is due back on April 13, 2012. The <br />application is for the amount designated by the NC State Energy Office for <br />Cabarrus County for the Weatherization program and the Heating and Air <br />Repair and Replacement program. The HARRP program is for $48,279 <br />and Weatherization is for $109,793. These funds have been submitted as <br />part of the Community Development Budget for FY The funds are <br />used to buy materials, pay labor and contractors as needed. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the standard Weatherization application. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Kelly Sifford, AICP <br />Planning and Development Services Director <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />No <br />COUNTY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS /COMMENTS: <br />F -1 Page 48 <br />
