CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />p T8 CARa jl r�� . . <br />� . 20 <br />��fiiffJfl /�� <br />1 P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Resolution Appointing Review Officer <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />General Statute 47 -30.2 requires that each county, by resolution, appoint <br />a Review Officer for purposes of reviewing maps intended for recordation <br />in the Register of Deeds. Jonathan Marshall has been the appointed <br />Review Officer since 1997. The attached resolution changes the <br />appointed Review Officer to the Land Records Manager, Greg Belk. The <br />statute emphasizes that where feasible the Review Officer should be a <br />certified property mapper which Mr. Belk is.
