D. Reimbursable Expenses <br />Normal Reimbursable Expenses such as reproductions, travel, long distance <br />telephone and fax transmission may be considered in addition to the contract <br />expense. The agreement must include a "not to exceed" amount; and, will become <br />part of the total contract cost. <br />E. Professional Services <br />The following clause must appear in all Professional Services agreements and <br />contracts — including Architects, Engineers or Surveyors: <br />"Except with the Owner's knowledge and consent, the Architect, Engineer <br />or Surveyor shall not engage in any activity or accept any employment, interest <br />or contribution that would reasonably appear to compromise the Architect, <br />Engineer or Surveyor's professional judgment with respect to this Project. The <br />Architect, Engineer or Surveyor shall disclose any business or personal <br />relationship with any member of the Board of County Commissioners or their <br />employees or agents." <br />F. Signature Authority <br />All contracts must be signed by the correct party as indicated below, unless <br />otherwise specifically authorized in writing by the Board of Commissioners <br />(BOC) or County Manager. The Board of Commissioners and the County <br />Manager may periodically assign contract signing authority.
