Management of Special Wastes <br />6. j. 1. Scrap Tires <br />Current: <br />Cabarrus County accepts waste passenger vehicle tires from County residents at the Landfill <br />and HHW locations. There is no fee for tire disposal; however, residents are limited to 5 tires per <br />visit. A private company, US Tire Recycling in Concord removes, transports, and disposes of <br />the tires collected at the landfill. CII generators can deliver waste tires directly to US Tire.
