CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />1� <br />p TBcA�a 11i JUNE 18 20 <br />��fiiffJfl /�� <br />1 P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Human Services - HCCBG Funding Plan & Reorganization FY13 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The FY13 Home and Community Care Block Grant Funding plan is <br />attached for approval. This funding plan includes the following changes: <br />* Establishes the Human Services Department and Parks Department as <br />new HCCBG Service Providers. <br />* Eliminates the Department of Aging, Transportation Department and <br />Department of Social Services as a HCCBG Service Provider. <br />* Transfers Department of Aging, Transportation Department and <br />Department of Social Services funding to Human Services Department <br />and Parks Department respectively. <br />The funding for the FY'13 HCCBG Funding Plan and these revisions due <br />to reorganization within Cabarrus County Government have been <br />reviewed and approved by the HCCBG Committee and are recommended <br />to the BOC for consideration and approval. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve HCCBG Funding Plan and the reorganization <br />recommended by the HCCBG Committee. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Ben Rose, Human Services Director <br />F -3 Page 58 <br />
