CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />♦r <br />$ CARQ� jl� JUNE 18 <br />• P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - Qualified School Construction Bonds Reallocation Request for <br />Concord High School - $85,000 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County School Board is requesting $85,000 be reallocated <br />from the Concord High School Chiller Replacement project to the Dining <br />Room Expansion project. Per the School Board, the chiller replacement <br />project bids came in under budget and the funds are needed to purchase <br />furniture for the new, larger dining room. The school does not have <br />enough furniture for the additional expanded space. This reallocation of <br />funds will be discussed at the Cabarrus County School's June 18, 2012 <br />Board Meeting. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve /disapprove the reallocation of $85,000 from the QSCB <br />Concord High School Chiller project to the Concord High School Dining <br />Room Expansion project. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />5 Minutes <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Len Witke, Executive Director, Facilities Management Department, <br />Cabarrus County Schools <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />No <br />G -3 Page 247 <br />
