Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 7- Performance Based Standards <br />All outside storage areas including dumpsters must be: <br />• sited to the rear of the building, <br />• within the setbacks required of the building's underlying zone, and, <br />• made unnoticeable from both residential adjacent properties and public <br />rights -of -way through installation of either fencing or vegetative screening. <br />b. In the event the use abuts residentially used or zoned property, buildings and <br />storage areas shall be located a minimum of 100 feet from the property line. <br />NOTE: If the use occurs on a large tract of land 5 acres or more and buildings and storage <br />areas are screened by existing vegetation or site topography from adjacent properties and <br />are not visible from any road right -of -ways, the buffer requirement may be waived. <br />44. Repair Shop, Small Engine <br />Agricultural /Open and Office /Limited Commercial <br />districts <br />a.
