Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 8- Conditional Uses <br />greater from the property line, buffering shall not be required. See Chapter 9, <br />Landscaping and Buffer Requirements. <br />i. The facility must provide, at a minimum, parking spaces to accommodate <br />the staff, clients and visitors. Service providers and vehicles (buses, tractors, <br />trucks and trailers, caterers, therapy providers, etc) should be included in this <br />calculation. Designated areas for special event parking shall also be included in the <br />parking plan. A maximum of ten (10) parking spaces, including handicap <br />accessible spaces, shall be an improved surface, the remainder must be grassed <br />(no impervious coverage). Handicap accessible parking is required to be an <br />improved /hard surface and to meet requirements of the North Carolina State <br />Accessibility Code and Section 10 -5.3 of this Ordinance. No on- street parking is <br />permitted. <br />j. Meals Other than as part of special events or therapy sessions, no meals shall be <br />served to the general public on the site. <br />k. eeesseF , uses. The following accessory uses may be permitted as incidental to <br />and limited to the clients of the principal use: <br />• Playground <br />• Bathroom facilities <br />• Aesthetic (gazebo, barn, etc.) features <br />• Barns, animal interaction arenas <br />• Physical therapy course /apparatus <br />• Multi- purpose building or room <br />I. Signage -Signs for Recreational Therapy Facilities shall meet the requirements of <br />Chapter 11 (Standards for Permanent Signage in Residential Districts) of the <br />Cabarrus County Subdivismen Zoning Ordinance: <br />Maxongung sign aFea five feet <br />o. The number of animals (livestock) boarded outside or partially outside shall not <br />exceed one animal per acre. Those boarded entirely inside shall not be counted as <br />part of this limitation. <br />p. Public address systems shall be permitted outside and within a building when the <br />speakers are at least fifty (50) feet from adjacent property lines. Further, noise at <br />any property line shall not exceed thirty -five (35) decibels. <br />24.
