CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 2012 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - Ongoing Projects Budget Amendment, Phase II <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Each year, there are projects that need to be transitioned to the new fiscal year. Projects were not budgeted for <br />FY 2013 because they were underway (or delayed after the budget had been submitted) and /or were anticipated <br />to be completed before year -end. The majority of projects submitted in Phase II are grant related, but a few are <br />projects and /or purchases that did not make the year -end cut off of June 30, 2012. A list of the re- appropriations <br />are attached for your review. One project, approved in August (Kannapolis Meeting Room Reservation) will be <br />transferred from the General Fund to Fund 343 for accounting tracking purposes. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the budget amendment and updated project ordinance. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Pamela S.
