Pleasant Elementary School A/C Replacement 16,774 <br />Justification: <br />The additional funding will pay for the use of a higher lift capacity construction crane needed to <br />span over an existing underground storage tank that was not known prior to bidding. The <br />Northwest Cabarrus Middle School Heat Pump Replacement is 100% complete. <br />2) Concord Chillers and Controls <br />Central Cabarrus High School Windows <br />(31,836) <br />31,836 <br />Justification: <br />The scope of work for the Central Cabarrus Window Replacement did not anticipate the need to <br />provide Asbestos Abatement nor the replacement of ceilings and floor tile. The additional <br />funding will cover: gymnasium transite panel removal and disposal, VCT floor tile replacement in <br />corridor and classroom, countertop replacement, new steel door lintel at Band Room, and panel <br />replacement sheathing at gymnasium. The Concord High Chillers and Controls project is 97 % <br />complete. <br />3) Beverly Hills Elementary School Windows <br />J.N. Fries Middle School /PLC Renovations <br />(1,912) <br />1,912 <br />Justification: <br />This funding is needed to tie -in the new PLC fire alarm system to the existing system, per fire <br />code.
