STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA SHERIFF'S ADMINISTRATION <br />BUILDING 7 TH FLOOR USAGE <br />COUNTY OF CABARRUS AGREEMENT <br />THIS SHERIFF'S ADMINISTRATION BUILDING 7 TH FLOOR USAGE <br />AGREEMENT ( "Usage Agreement ") is made and entered into as of the day of <br />August, 2012, by and between CABARRUS COUNTY, North Carolina a body politic <br />and political subdivision of the State of North Carolina ( "County ") and ROWAN - <br />CABARRUS COMMUNITY COLLEGE, INC., a non - profit corporation organized and <br />existing under the laws of the State of North Carolina ( "RCCC "). <br />PREMISES <br />1. County is the owner of real property located in the City of Concord, <br />Cabarrus County, North Carolina upon which sits the Cabarrus County Sheriff's <br />Department Administration Building, which is located at 30 Corban Avenue, Southeast. <br />2. The parties have agreed to enter into this Usage Agreement for a portion <br />of the above described property based on the provisions and conditions set forth below. <br />In consideration of the above Premises and the Terms below, which the parties <br />consider sufficient legal consideration, the parties agree as follows: <br />TERMS <br />1. USABLE SPACE. RCCC is entitled to nonexclusive use of selected portions <br />of the 7 th floor of the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department Administration Building, <br />which portions are described in more detail in the attached Exhibit A. Hereafter, this area <br />shall be termed the "Space" and the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department <br />Administration Building and grounds shall be collectively termed the "Property ". <br />2. TERM OF USE. The initial Term of Use shall be from August 1, 2012 to <br />July 31, 2017, unless sooner terminated.
