V <br />CRBRRRUS <br />C a U N T Y G V B <br />Media Coverage I November <br />2012 <br />Rock Hill Herald <br />November 5,2012 <br />Charlotte Speedway hosting hiring fair for veterans, spouses <br />CONCORD, N.C. -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's National Chamber Foundation <br />and RecruitMilitary will hold a "Hiring Our Heroes — Charlotte," a job fair for veterans <br />and military spouses on Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Charlotte Motor <br />Speedway in Concord. More than 30 employers are expected to participate with jobs <br />available for veterans and military spouses of all ranks and levels of experience. The <br />event will include a free GE employment workshop that features one -on -one mentoring <br />sessions on resume building, resume writing, and interviewing techniques for all job - <br />seeking veterans and service member participants. Since its launch in March 2011, <br />Hiring Our Heroes has held more than 330 hiring fairs nationwide, helping more than <br />14,100 veterans and military spouses find employment.
