RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE <br />FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2013 <br />WHEREAS, the regular agenda work sessions of the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are currently held <br />on the first Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the <br />Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are held on the <br />third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the <br />Governmental Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday requires a change in the regular <br />meeting date in January 2013; and <br />WHEREAS, the Labor Day holiday requires a change in the agenda work <br />session meeting date in September 2013; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A- 40(a), does hereby: <br />(1) Establish the Board's regular agenda work session schedule to meet at <br />4:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center on the <br />following dates: <br />July 1, 2013 <br />August 5, 2013 <br />September 3, 2013* (Tuesday) <br />October 7, 2013 <br />November 4, 2013 <br />December 2, 2013 <br />*Tuesday <br />(2) Establish the Board's regular meeting schedule to meet at 6:30 p.m. in the <br />Commissioner's Meeting Room at the Governmental Center on the <br />following dates: <br />January 22, 2013* (Tuesday) <br />February 18, 2013 <br />March 18, 2013 <br />April 15, 2013 <br />May 20, 2013 <br />June 17, 2013 <br />July 15, 2013 <br />August 19, 2013 <br />September 16, 2013 <br />October 21, 2013 <br />November 18, 2013 <br />December 16, 2013 <br />(3) Sets a NCACC Legislative Goals conference in Durham, North Carolina <br />on January 24 — 25, 2013; and <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -4 Page 89 <br />
