All parking needs brought about - by. the operation of the home <br />occupation must be met through an off street parking arrangement. <br />17. Home occupation, rural <br />Zones permitting based on standards: <br />*Agricultural/ open, countryside residential,. low- density residential, medium <br />density residential. <br />STANDARDS: <br />a) List of rural home occupations: The following lists those occupations, which <br />may be conducted as a rural home occupation (RHO). The rural home occupation <br />differs from the home occupation in that it is not required to be conducted within <br />the residence proper, but may be in another building accessory to the residence. <br />Slightly more intense uses may occur within the RHO since it is sited within less <br />densely settled areas. <br />• Accounting, bookkeeping <br />• Appraisal <br />• Architecture <br />• Auto repair work - permitted as PBS in Ag/open only. <br />• Building contractor's storage yard including electrical, <br />plumbing, <br />o & mechanical <br />• Legal services <br />• Real estate sales <br />• Insurance sales <br />• Daycare with eight children or less (See GS §110 -86) <br />• Drafting services <br />• Tailoring (dressmaking, alterations, etc.) services <br />• Engineering <br />• Financial planning & investment services <br />Amended 11/16/2009 7-12 <br />Page 328 <br />G -2 <br />
