Community Issues. Among nine community issues that residents were asked to rate, residents placed the highest priority on protecting water quality (87 %) and being prepared for emergencies /natural disasters (84 %). The chart below shows the priority that was placed on each of issues that were rated. Nearly three- fourths (71 %) of those surveyed thought it was "very important" or "important" for the County to provide Park - and -Ride services like " Cabarrus Link "; 19% thought it was "somewhat important "; 8% did not think it was important, and 2% did not have an opinion.
