6. Internal Assessment of Council (SPOT Analysis) <br />After assessing their external environment and developing a working mission statement, the <br />participants worked first with their tables and then together as three sub teams to bring internal <br />focus to the group discussion. The group identified Strengths and Problems with the Food <br />Policy Council as an organization. The team then brainstormed how to turn these into <br />Opportunities for the future. Finally, the group identified potential Threats which could impact <br />their future work.
