The agreement to <br />be executed between Cabarrus County and NCDOT is enclosed. The individual authorized to <br />enter into this agreement for the financial assistance on behalf of your agency will sign the <br />agreement. Please provide a copy of the agreement to all parties that will be involved in the <br />administration of the grant and ask that they review the agreement carefully. Instructions for <br />completion of the grant agreement process are enclosed. <br />NCDOT requests that each grantee complete a "cash flow" management schedule. This <br />schedule is designed to provide NCDOT with a "best cash flow estimate" of when state and <br />federal grant funds will be drawn down by month. This information is provided to the <br />department's Cash Management Unit to ensure that the funds are available when needed. Please <br />refer to Section 8b of the grant agreement that requires that subrecipients submit monthly or <br />quarterly requests for reimbursement. Please complete the enclosed form and return it via email <br />to the attention of Charlie Wright at ccwright @ncdot.gov or when you mail the locally executed <br />agreement back to us. <br />Please contact us if you have any questions related to the grant agreement.
