County budget to be presented May 16 by Cabarrus County on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:12pm The Cabarrus County Manager will present the proposed Cabarrus County Budget for Fiscal Year 2012 to the Board of Commissioners on Monday, May 16, 2011. A copy of the proposed budget will be fled in the office of the Clerk to the Board on that same day and will be available for public inspection at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center during regular business hours. The 2012 preliminary budget will also be posted on the County's website at www.cabarruscounty.us/Finance/preliminarybudget2Ol2.html. Budget workshop meetings will be held in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, SE, Concord, on May 24, 31 and June 1, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held on, Monday, June 20, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, SE, Concord. Citizens are invited to attend and present written or oral comments. Adoption of the proposed budget is scheduled for June 20, 2011. If reasonable accommodations are needed to participate in the meetings, please contact the ADA Coordinator at 704- 920 -2100 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
