Budget Ordinance - Capital Improvements Project <br />CABARRUS COUNTY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />BUDGET ORDINANCE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2011 -2012 <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina: <br />Section I. <br />The following amounts are hereby appropriated as the estimated revenues and project <br />appropriations for the capital projects listed below during the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2011 <br />and ending June 30, 2012: <br />Capital Projects Fund <br />A. It is estimated that the following revenues will be available to complete capital projects as <br />proposed in the 2012 Capital Improvement Plan for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2011, <br />and ending June 30, 2012: <br />Contribution - Capital Reserve Fund 4,546,800 <br />Contribution - Cannon Trust 65,000 <br />TOTAL REVENUES 4,611,800 <br />B. The following appropriations are made as proposed in the 2012 Capital Improvement Plan for <br />the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012: <br />Governmental Center Main Area Handlers <br />100,000 <br />Old Board of Elections Demolition <br />650,000 <br />Old Jail Demolition /Resurface <br />2,000,000 <br />Arena Roof Replacements <br />96,800 <br />Kannapolis Library Program Room <br />65,000 <br />Emergency Communications' Improvements <br />700,000 <br />Human Services Building Renovations <br />1,000,000 <br />TOTAL EXPENDITURES 4,611,800 <br />GRAND TOTAL — REVENUES $ 4,611,800 <br />GRAND TOTAL — EXPENDITURES $ 4,611,800 <br />Section II. <br />A. Special appropriations to non - profit organizations shall be distributed after the execution of an <br />agreement which ensures that all County funds are used for statutorily permissible public <br />purposes. <br />B. The County Manager and /or Finance Director, or designee is hereby authorized to transfer <br />appropriations within or between funds, or modify revenue and expenditure projections as <br />contained herein under the following conditions: <br />Attachment number 5 <br />G -1 Page 275 <br />
